Outlook - 0x8004108d - Outbox error

After losing your internet connection, you may get an error message 0x8004108d. To resolve, set your connection in Outlook or Mail to always connect using your Broadband connection.

Error Message:
Some of the messages in your Outbox Folder could not be copied to your Sent Items Folder. Subject 'xx', Account: 'pop3.xtra.co.nz', Server: 'send.xtra.co.nz', Protocol: IMAP, Server Response:", Port:995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x8004108D

To Resolve:

Outlook Express and Windows Mail

  1. Click on the Tools menu and select Accounts
  2. Select your Account and click Properties
  3. On the Connection tab, select Always connect to this account using and Local Area Network
  4. Click OK
  5. Click Close to save your changes
